Clarice D. (Mowry) Toth

Clarice D. Toth, age 99, of Schererville, passed away on Saturday, December 27th, 2025. She is survived by her children Carolyn (Henry) Crull, Cheryl (Rudy) Keller, Ann (Paul) Bartak, Candace (Andrew) Knol, 21 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, sister Rachel Meeks, numerous nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death in by her parents James & Dorris Dodson, husband Joseph, daughter Vara Winnan, son Kevin J. Toth and by her siblings, Ruth Lorton, Henry, Carl, Hilda Massey, Dorris Baker, Harvey.

All services will be private.

Clarice was a member of First Church of God, where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years and led bible study. She was active in women’s organizations, visited the shut ins, and made many meals for those in need. She enjoyed taking care of family and husband. Clarice was also former legal secretary at South Holland Trust & Savings.
