Carol J. Luchene

Carol J. Luchene, age 80, of Crown Point, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026. She is survived by her daughter: Lisa (Greg Nunnelly) Snider, granddaughters: Kiersten Sipes and Courtney Snider, great grandchildren: Brody Sipes and Aleena Sipes, cousins: Janice (Al Benda), Peter Labzentis, and many additional cousins. A special thank you to the extended family of Porter Court that have helped take care of and love Carol. She is preceded in death by her husband: William “Bill” Luchene, and parents: John and Laura Labzentis.

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. Glen Park (45th Ave.) in Griffith, IN.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 12:00 (noon) PM with Brandon Rukes officiating. Entombment to follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Schererville, IN.

Carol was a part of the local WOW organization, she loved listening to music, especially Hozier. After her retirement from Navistar International, she enjoyed spending her time traveling and dining out with her friends. Carol had a deep love for animals and her family; she will be greatly missed.
