Carl A Pagin

Carl A. Pagin “The Chip Man”, age 85, of Griffith, passed away on Saturday, December 28th, 2024.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda, children, Susan (Donald) Wihebrink, Judy (Roger) Rhodes, and Kevin (Dawn) Pagin, four grandchildren, and brother, Albert D. (late Janice) Pagin.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Ida Pagin, sister, Jacquelyn, son, James, and stillborn daughter, Cindy.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 3rd, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Mary’s Catholic Church located at 525 N. Broad St., Griffith with Fr. Keith Virus celebrating.

Inurnment will take place at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN at a later date.

Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. Glen Park Ave., Griffith, IN.

Carl graduated from Horace Mann High School, Class of 1958. He retired, after 30 years, from Frito Lay and was a Navy Veteran.

Carl was a member of the American Legion Post 66 in Griffith and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
