Beverly Jean Shelby AKA (Big Grandma) of Hammond Indiana

Daughter of the late Arthur and Helen DeWolf . Departed this life at her eldest daughter’s house in St Louis Missouri surrounded by her family on Dec 1, 2021 at the age of 88.

She is survived by her children Patty (Mike) Andrews ,  Sharon (Don) Swank, Charles Shelby, grandchildren: Monica, Angie, Mike, Jason, Tabatha, Nikkie , Donnie, Samantha, Ashley, Richard, Tiffany, John, Stephanie, Josh, 28 great grand children.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles Shelby , parents  Arthur and Helen DeWolf and  son John Shelby, sisters Frances (late) Bill Meyer, Evelyn (late Raymond), Winnie(late Barney) Mullins, brothers Donald DeWolf and Ken (late Helen) DeWolf.

Beverly was a very upbeat and loving woman who’s favorite activities included watching Lifetime and Hallmark movies, playing cards and dice games and of course laughing and enjoying every possible moment she could with her family.

Family and friends may come and join in telling stories and their final goodbyes at White Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at White’s Funeral Home 921 W Glen Park Ave. (45th Ave) Griffith , Indiana 46319  on Monday Dec 13th  2021 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
