Betty Jean White, of Wawaka, Indiana, formerly of Crown Point, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2026.
She is lovingly survived by her sons, Thomas A. White and Tracy White; grandchildren, Tiffani (Robert) Bussie, Amy (Benjamin Mayhew) Ramirez, and Jessica (Matthew) Howard; and great-grandchildren, Jason, Noah, Jordan, Christina, Abbigalle, Cadden, Zackary, and Luca; daughter in law Kathy White; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Lorena Pribble; her beloved husband, Tommy White; her son, Timothy White; her daughter, Gail White; and her brothers, Kenneth Pribble and George Pribble.
Betty retired as a salesclerk with Walgreens, where she worked for many years at the Highland, Crown Point, and St. John locations. She was a devoted member of Bell Tower Bible Church of Wawaka, Indiana, and found great joy in crocheting.
Friends and family may gather for visitation on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home.
Services will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at White Funeral Home. Pastor James La Follette will officiate.
Betty will be remembered for her kindness, faith, dedication to family, and the warmth she brought to everyone who knew her.
