Anthony L. Gulotta, 81, of Griffith, IN, passed away on March 7, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marie (nee Vargo); daughters Bridget Gulotta (late Joe Balitewicz), Angela Furman (Greg), and Katherine Gulotta (David Birringer); beloved granddaughter Jessica Furman (Jake Fox); brothers Salvatore (Phyllis) and Mark (Sandra); sister- and brother-in-law Margaret and David Rietman; and numerous cherished nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Salvatore and Laura (nee Katauskas) Gulotta; brother Phillip Gulotta; mother- and father-in-law Anne and John Vargo; and sister-in-law Patricia (Steve) Hansen.
Tony was raised in Calumet City, IL, and was a graduate of Thorton Fractional North High School. He was a proud member of Aventuras AC maintaining life-long friendships with its members. For many years, Tony coached Little League and Babe Ruth baseball in Calumet City and Hammond.
Tony was a veteran of the United States Army stationed at Fort Dix, NJ, Fort Sill, OK, and completed a one-year tour in Germany followed by several years in the United States Army Reserve. He was a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Marquette Council #3631.
Tony was a member of Teamsters Union Local 142, employed at PepsiCo for twenty years and prior to that at Franklin Supply and Redi Froz, Inc. In retirement, he worked at Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Ivy Tech.
Tony was a Chicago White Sox and Bears fan, a lover of manicured lawns and a crackling fire, fine cigars, a cold Peroni, a delicious cup of coffee in his favorite Goofy mugs gifted by his granddaughter Jessica, classic cars, and rock and roll from the 1950’s and 60’s.
Tony was gifted with an envious crop of hair and gorgeous olive skin, and was a loving husband, father, friend, and neighbor who will be deeply missed.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 3pm-8pm CT at White Funeral Home, 921 W Glen Park Ave, Griffith, IN; Mass will be held at 11am CT on Friday, March 14, 2025, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 525 N Broad St, Griffith, IN.
Private inurnment will be held later at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
