William Wesley Potts age 82 of Griffith, passed away on Saturday August 3, 2013.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rosaline; children: Mona Christman, of Lake of the Four Seasons, IN; William Potts Jr. (Diane Taylor) of Sarasota, FL; grandchildren: Justin, Claude, Melissa, Wesley (Aliki), Nicole, and Kathryn (Derek) ; great grandchildren: Gabriella, Paige, Madison, Zachary, and Dylon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Susie Potts; and by his sister Marjorie Tussey.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 8 ^th at 10:00am at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. 45th Avenue in Griffith, with Pastor Scott Hobbs officiating.

Cremation will follow services.

Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, August 7 ^th from 3:00pm-8:00pm at White Funeral Home.

William was a member of Griffith Baptist Church, and American Legion, Post 66. He retired from Amoco Oil Co, and was a Korean War Marine Veteran.
