WILLIAM "DON" JONES HOBART, IN William"Don" Jones, age 77 of Hobart, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Phyllis; daughters: Donna (Jay) Eenigenburg of Lansing,IL, Diana (Charles Perry) Hershman of Munster and Dr. Debra (Dr. Perry) Zach of Ogden Dunes; grandchildren: Adam, Holly, Chris, Brandon, Kimberly, David and Lauren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Melvinia Marie Taylor; and brother, Tom Jones. Preceded in death by his parents: William and Velma Jones; and sister, Marylou Thiel. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Family Christian Center in Munster with Pastor Steve Munsey officiating. Burial will follow at Abe Lincoln National Cemetery. Friends may meet with the family on Monday September 19, 2011 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Ave., Griffith. Don was a member of Family Christian Center (Sgt. Of Arms) and was a member of Isaac Walton. He was a Korean War Navy Veteran. Don enjoyed sailing, fishing and hunting. He was owner of GMJ car sales in Highland.
