Willard K. Johnson age 66 of Griffith passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years; Jayne

Son: Bobby (Amanda);

Grandchildren; Jalynn, Allie and Dude, Godson; Ernie Pickett

Cousin: Katie Averett,  Friends: Laura Schiller and Susan (De) Lopez

Willard was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 7:00 pm at First Christian Church located at 204 W. Pine Griffith with Pastor Shawn Cornett officiating.

Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 4-7:00 pm at First Christian Church.

Willard retired from East Chicago Police Department and was a former substitute teacher in East Chicago. He also  loved fishing, hunting and cooking.
