Victor August Swetky, age 56 of Hebron, formerly of Gary passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013. He is survived by his parents: Victor P. and Genevieve Swetky; siblings: Gloria Taylor, Leah (Jim) Tachtiris, and Mary West; niece, Samantha Cooper; nephews: Brett West, Zachariah (Michelle) Swetky. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 11:00 AM at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Ave., Griffith with Fr. Stephen Loncar officiating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville. Friends may meet with the family on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at White Funeral Home from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM.
