Vernon R. Ballah age 86 of Schererville passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015.

He is survived by his daughters Kathy (Russell) Tropp of St. Charles, MO. and Sue (Kevin) Morris of Schererville.

Grandchildren Sean Morris of Loveland, CO, Kaitlin Tropp and Dan Tropp of St. Charles, MO

Brother Clifford (Mary) Ballah and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.

Preceded in death by his parents Harry & Olga Ballah, his wife Shirley and sister Lois Hall

Funeral services will be on Saturday August 8, 2015 at 10:00am at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue in Griffith with Pastor Donald Stock officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville.

Friends may meet with the family on Friday, August 7 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at White Funeral Home .

Vernon was an Army veteran and a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Munster, NRA and Ducks Unlimited.

He loved fishing, nature and the Chicago Cubs.
