Vaughn Elaine Heimberger Kistler, 72, of Calumet Township passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 12, 2023.

Vaughn and her twin, Vicki were born on April 15,1950 to Larry and Zola Heimberger in Highland, Indiana.

Vaughn graduated from Highland Senior High School.  In 1969, Vaughn married James Kistler in Hammond.  Vaughn and James went on to have four children, James (Jamie) Kistler, Ian (Nancy) Kistler, Nathan (Jen) Kistler, Erin (Mike) Kistler, and 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vaughn was predeceased by her husband, Jim, parents, Larry and Zola, and her sisters, Vicki, Roseann and Lareen.

No services are scheduled at this time and a celebration of life will take place on a later date.
