Trudy Lynn Janson, age 61, of St. John, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.

She is survived by her children; Ashleigh (Eric Lambert) Wiatrowski, Michael Wiatrowski, Christopher Wiatrowski, mother, Janice Janson, granddaughter, Ali Leal, siblings; Kimberly (Evan) Stubbs, John (Debbie) Janson, Dawn Janson, Tom (Terri) Janson, numerous nieces and nephews, long-time friends; Laura DeYoung, Marianne McKibbin, Maria Servin, Tim Walla, and four-legged companions; Miss Kitty, Firkin, Scout, Nora, and Umbra.

Trudy was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Janson.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. Glen Park Ave. (45th Ave) Griffith with Pastor Tom Norwalk officiating.

Burial will be private.

Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home.

Trudy was a baker for Mondelez and a long-time member of the Stockyard Kilty Band. Trudy enjoyed driving around playing "Pokémon Go" and was always working on her house. She had quite an extensive houseplant collection.

Trudy loved getting to spend her time with her four-legged companions and even the "Grand-puppies."

Trudy will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree in Trudy's honor or donations may be given to the family.
