Timothy J. Nolen age 65 of Griffith passed away on Sunday November 13, 2016.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years: Bonnie;

Daughters: Melissa (Dave) Ochman, and Lauren Nolen; grandson  Owen;

Siblings: Cheryl (Brad) Atkinson, Colleen Nolen, Richard (Sue) Nolen, James Nolen, numerous nieces, nephews and by his four legged companions: Hank and Pearl

Tim was preceded in death by his parents James and Dorothy Nolen

Memorial services will be held on Friday November 18, 2016 at 10:00 am at First Presbyterian Church of Highland located at 8727 Delaware  with Pastor Linda Skaggs officiating.

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday November 17 for 4-8:00 pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue Griffith, IN.

Tim graduated from Highland High School Class of 1969, Purdue University Calumet in 1973 and received his Masters from Indiana University Northwest in 1975.  He was formerly employed at Nolen Plumbing and Heating for 15 years, Certified Driving School for over 20 years and was a substitute teacher and basketball coach at Highland Schools.  Tim was retired from the Plumbers Union.  He loved gardening, the Chicago White Sox,  IU Basketball and Bobby Knight.
