Thomas J. Mulligan "Budge" age 95 of Griffith passed away on Sunday June 12, 2016.

He is survived by his children: Kathy (Wayne) Martin, Terry (Nancy) Mulligan, Laureen (late Ron) Ortosky, and Tim Mulligan;

Grandchildren: Chris, Lisa, Patrick and Katie;

Great grandchildren: Rowan, Isla, Molly, Finlay and Emily;

And by his sister: Francie Keelan.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents  John and Margaret Mulligan;  wife Patricia; son  Thomas and by his siblings Margaret  and Jack.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 10:00 am at St Mary Catholic Church, located at 525 N. Broad Street in Griffith with Father Theodore Mens celebrating.

Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Schererville

Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, June 15th from 2-8:00 pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue in Griffith.  There will be an evening wake service at 7:30 pm on Wednesday.

Tom was retired from Inland Steel after 32 years of service.  He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, American Legion Post 66 in Griffith,  Kiwanis  and the Highland Elks.  He was also active  and past president in the Calumet Area Boys and Girls Club.  He was an  World War II Army Veteran(Combat Medic) and a Bronze Star recipient. Tom loved the Chicago White Sox and Da' Bears!
