Thomas Paul Firsich age 85 of Highland passed  away  on  Sunday December 4, 2016. He died while under the loving care of his wife of 58 years Delores (Shonk) Firsich.

Tom was born August 7, 1931 to Raymond and Martha (Goyert) Firsich in Batesville, Indiana.  After graduating from high school he enlisted in the Marines and served honorably for 3 years.  After completing his tour, he attended Ball State University majoring in business.

Tom retired from Roman Decorating products.  He was quite a handyman at home and for many years enjoyed traveling and hiking with Dee.

He is survived by his wife Dee, 3 children, Brad, Stacey and Todd, 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held  on Saturday January 14 at 2:00 pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue Griffith.  Inurnment  will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery  in Elwood, IL.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice.
