Thomas G. "Poppy" Dellahan Sr.  "the Greek" age 83 of Highland, formerly of Griffith, passed away on Friday April 1, 2016.

He is survived by his children Thomas G. (Diane) Dellahan Jr., Lauri A. (Dennis) Little, Linda J. (Dave) Bennett, and Lisa Marie (Curt) Burrow; grandchildren Christa, Alexander, Jorden, Dakota, Abbey, Dayton, Leah, and Jake; Great Grandson Jayson; sister Daneise (Late Ken) Sprague, and by his partner in crime Ruth Ryfa.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Ann Dellahan and by his wife Ruby.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, April 7 at 1:00 pm at St. Mary Catholic Church located at 525 N. Broad St. in Griffith with Fr. Theodore Mens celebrating. Inurnment will be private at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville.

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, April 7 ^th from 12:00pm-until time of Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church.

Tom was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He was retired from Pepsi Cola and he was an avid Notre Dame Fan. Tom also enjoyed fishing and golfing, and attending his grandchildren's sporting events. He enjoyed working out at Fitness Pointe every day and was a member of the "ROMEO" breakfast club. Tom was also a former Griffith Girls Softball coach and St. Mary Basketball coach.
