Theresa C. White age 83 of East Chicago, formerly of Schererville, passed away on Tuesday May 21, 2013.

She is survived by her sons: Robert White (Dina Palomo), of East Chicago, William (Marge) White, of Hammond, IN.; five grandchildren; Christopher (Wendy) Gomersall, Ryan White, Jenni (Eric) Ganser, Jason White, Brandy White; three great grandchildren, with one great grandchild on the way; sister, Dorothy Hill; brothers: Tom (Judy) Zimmer, and Allen Zimmer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert F. White; three brothers, and by her sister.

Funeral services will be held on Friday May 24, 2013 at 10:00am at.

Friends may meet the family on Thursday May 23, 2013 from 4:00 until 8:00pm at the White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Ave. in Griffith.

Theresa retired from Popeye's Chicken and Meijer; she also worked many years at Sauzer's Kiddie Land. Theresa's family would like to extend their gratitude to Theresa's best friend, Carol Wilkens.
