Theodore F. Kuta, Sr., age 85, of Hammond, passed away on January 17, 2023. He is survived by his daughters: Sharon (Thomas) Barrins, Geraldine (Robert) Vogeler, and Elizabeth (Jeffrey) Opyt; grandchildren: Joseph Soltis, Jr., Ella (Jonathan) Dutton, Alyssa Lunsford; great grandson Greyson; brother Donald Kuta; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Rose Kuta; wife Rosalie; son Teddy Jr.; sisters Dolores Peterson, Carol Kuta.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church located at 7132 Arizona Ave., Hammond, IN 46323 with Father Charles Mosley celebrating. Inurnment will be at St. John/St. Joseph Cemetery in Hammond. Friends may meet with the family on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. to 10 A.M. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

Ted was an Army Veteran and a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Hammond. He was retired from Whiting Corporation. He loved gardening, growing roses, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
