Thelma M. Ward age 81 of Griffith passed away on Sunday June 26, 2016.

She is survived by her daughter: Loni (Bill) Rich of Hebron;

Grandchildren: Angela (Mike) Wickstrom, Teresa (Doug) Cox, Deanne Ewen and Kelly Ewen;

Great grandchildren: Megan (Christian), Makenzie, Joseph, Kaitlin, Michael, Katrina, Jimmy Kristen, and by her Great great granddaughter Kinsley. She is also survived by her special "nieces and nephews: Patsy (Dan) Panozzo, Billy (Elaine) Estes, Chris Wilcoxon and numerous other family members and friends.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents Ethelbert and May Crues, her husband Truman, grandson Jimmy, and by her four sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 30, 2016 at 10:00 am at White Funeral Home with Pastor Shawn Cornett officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery in Schererville, IN.

Friends may meet with family on Wednesday June 29th from 4-8:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Ave in Griffith

Thelma was retired from Lever Brothers and her hobby was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the Hospice of the Calumet for their care of Thelma.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given Hospice of the Calumet.
