Teresa I. Hardy age 64 of Hobart, Indiana passed away on Saturday February 3, 2018.

She is survived by her children: James (Kim) Hardy, John Huetten, and Charissa Huetten; siblings: Emil (Lori) Poppa, John (Tina) Poppa, and Virgil (Tiffany) Poppa; and ten grandchildren.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father Emil "Moe" Poppa, mother Jean Kirk, Richard Oros, sister Sophia "Fiti" Poppa, husband James "Big Foot" Hardy granddaughter Rachel Hardy, nephew Ethan Poppa and by her son Michael Huetten.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 8, 2018 at 7:30 pm at WHITE FUNERAL HOME located at 921 W. 45th Avenue in Griffith with Pastor Roy Moffitt officiating. Cremation will follow.

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday February 8, 2018 at        WHITE FUNERAL HOME from 3-7:30 p.m

Teresa was a loving mother, sister and aunt.  She retired from the Hammond Police Dept. (Secretary to the Narcotics Division). Teresa gave with her whole heart and she always put others first.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family.
