Sylvia Gail Haley, age 72, passed away peacefully May 26, 2015, at Munster Community Hospital, surrounded with the love of her family.  She was born July 7, 1942 to Anthony Boilek and Irene Gardener Boilek Vrabel.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, her daughter Jamie Haley, her sister Karen Goins, one grandson and one great grandson.

Survived by her children: Wendy (Baker) Haley-Scott, Brenda (Paul) Spitz, Polly (Tracy) Johns, Charlie (Heather) Haley and Sarah Haley.

She was delighted and proud of her grandchildren: Andrew, Nick, Nathan, Eric, Amanda, Alison, Audrey, Ava, and Addison, Hagen, Lily, Brooklyn and her six great-grandchildren.

Friends may meet with the family on Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 2-6 pm at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue, Griffith, Indiana.

Sylvia was retired from Strack and Van Tils supermarket and thoroughly enjoyed being a Pampered Chef representative in her later years. She said "Happy Cooking" to all with joy and love.  Most of all she was a loving and giving mom and grandmother.  She will be missed by many…but she is free.
