Susan Mary Robinette, age 65, of Griffith passed away on Monday, January 05, 2015.   She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Gifford; daughter: Michelle (P.K.) Das; granddaughters: Katie and Kristen Das; sister: Virginia (Dennis) Guse; sister-in-law: Marcia Hurtt; daughter:  Gloria Reillo and her beloved pets.     She was preceded in death by her parents: Stephen and Helen Lakatos; brother: Stephen R. Lakatos; and brother-in-law: Richard Hurtt.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 9 at 1:00 pm at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue, Griffith, with Rev. Joan Mier officiating.    Friends may meet with the family on Friday, January 9 ^th from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.

Sue adored her granddaughters, all children and was an avid animal lover.   She enjoyed laughing, having fun, traveling and spending time with her family.   Sue was a member of Faith United Church of Christ in Hammond and retired from Franciscan St. Margaret Mercy Hospital.
