Susan L. Elbaor

Susan (Davis) Elbaor, age 63, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and previously of Griffith, Indiana, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2026. She was born to the late Frank and Eleanor (Bogs) Davis, in Chicago, Illinois, on October 20, 1962.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents as well as the love of her life, husband Raymond K. Elbaor.

She is survived by her children, Derek (Amy) Elbaor, of Columbus, Ohio and Britni (Eric) Michael of Grand Rapids, Michigan; grandchildren, Elliott, Thomas, Clara, and Nicholas; brother, Bob (Carol) Davis of Darien, Illinois, and sister Nancy (Dennis) Pawlick of Hobart, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family is thankful for the staff at Sunrise of Cascade and Hospice of Michigan. Thank you all for your kind and compassionate care.

Funeral Services will be held at White Funeral Home, 921 W Glen Park Ave, Griffith, Indiana, on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM with Fr. Theodore Mens presiding. Friends may visit with the family prior to the service at the funeral home from 9:00am to 11:00am. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, Illinois.

Susan will be remembered for her love of family and her legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren. The family takes comfort in knowing that Susan is reunited with Raymond, most likely sitting by the pool and having a margarita or two.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider donating to Andrean High School in the Elbaor Family name or to the Alzheimer’s Association of Michigan.
