Steven M. Laas age 44 of Griffith, passed away on Saturday March 10, 2012.

He is survived by his lifelong partner: Margie Laas, Daughter: Nikki Laas, Sons: Stosh (Liz) Harder, Brad (Amy) Harder, Grandchildren: Charity, Dino, and Logan., Parents: Joseph and Rosetta Laas, Sisters: Dawn (Don) Janes, Peggy (Fred Dancer) Laas, Samara (Jason Montpetit) Laas, Mother-in-Law: Ann Terrill, and also by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and a host of friends. Steven was preceded in death by his brother Joey Laas

Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 15, at 8:00pm at White Funeral Home with family members officiating. Cremation will follow the services.

Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday March 14 ^th and Thursday March 15 ^th from 4-8:00pm at the White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Ave. in Griffith

Steven was a member of the Plumbers Union Local # 210 and he was an avid fisherman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
