Stephen M. Claus, age 55 of Cedar Lake, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2014.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years Elizabeth, children: Jennifer (Joshua) Venecz, Billy (Sarah) Claus, Sean (Lina) McAndrew, Jason McAndrew, grandchildren: Tommy, Alexis, Angelika, Aiden, Lanae, Jayda, Joshua, Makalya, Grace, Brooklyn, Brayden.

Mother: Alice (Leonard) Vendetti.

Brothers: Brian Claus, Scott (Lauri) Claus.

Preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Claus.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Family Christian Center, 340 45 ^th Avenue, Munster, IN. with Pastor Jim Utley, officiating.

Burial will follow at German Methodist Cemetery in Cedar Lake, IN.

Friends may meet with the family on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 9-11 AM at Family Christian Center, until time of service. Stephen was a member of Family Christian Center and was employed by Vision Integrated Graphics in Tinley Park, IL.  He loved fishing, camping and mowing his lawn on his new Kubota  .
