Sophie V. Janczak, age 93 of Munster, passed away on Tuesday May 26, 2015.

She is survived by her children: George (Ruth) Gordon, Suzanne (Dave) Przybyla and Donna (Steven) Varady

11 Grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren

Special Friend: Nola Cameon

Preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Veronica Hetmanowski, husbands, George Gordon and Zigmund Janczak, and brother William Hetmanowski.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 12 noon at White Funeral Home , located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue, Griffith, Indiana with Father Mark Pavlina officiating.

Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, Illinois.

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, May 28 from 10-12 noon at White Funeral Home.

Sophie was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Highland and the Highland Senior Citizens. She was a wonderful cook, baker and she loved spending time with her family.
