Shawn E. Mincy age 51 of Griffith passed away on Saturday June 26th, 2021.

He is survived by his daughter Harlynn "Harley", sons Anthony and Joseph, mother Carol Martin, sister Lynsey (Chris) Auguano, brothers Nathan Martin, Dale Parmeley, aunts Rhonda (Steve Tharp) Martin, Pam (Bob) Barnaby, Kathy (Joe) Walczak, Karen Summers, Tina (Beau) Mincy-Brooks, Julie Mincy, uncles Jeff (Mary) Martin, Roy Runyan, Glenn Withers, niece Layla, nephews Jackson and Caedyn, best friend Artie March, and many cousins.

Shawn was preceded in death by his dad Mike Martin, mother Debbie Mincy, grandparents Otis and Elaine Martin, Red and Yvonne Rinehart, Junior and Betty Mincy, Uncles Larry, Donnie, David Mincy, Steve Summers, aunts Brenda Mincy, Nancy Runyan, and the twins Michael and Heidi.

Cremation was chosen and there are no services scheduled at this time.

Shawn worked for Maaco in Schererville for many years and was well known by all the local car dealers. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and custom painting them, fishing, and spending time with friends and family, but most of all, the love of his life was his daughter, Harley. Shawn loved life and lived it to the fullest. He will be missed by all his family and friends.
