Sharon G. Damron age 70 of Griffith passed away on Thursday, March 12 ^th , 2015 peacefully at home.

She is survived by her children: Jeff (Wendy) Damron, Patty (Jeff) Robinson, Lana (Ben) Payer, Rick (Fiancée Jane) Damron, Joe (Jamie Darnell) Damron and Becky (Danny) Hinton

Sharon was also survived by her grandchildren: Shawna, Keegan, Tyler, Samantha, Jana, Jayden, Jr, Skylar, Ethan, Joey, Grace and Julia.

Sibling's: Pete (Joan) Lolkema, Dale (Janet) Lolkema, Jim (Karen) Lolkema, Melvin (Gale) Lolkema and Julia Lolkema. Numerous nieces, nephews, and by her beloved four legged family members Morgan and Hopper.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Grace Lolkema, husband Lowell, son Randy and daughter Melynda.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 17 ^th at 10:00am at White Funeral Home with Chaplain Richard Laird officiating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN.

Friends may meet with the family on Monday, March 16 ^th from 3:00pm-8:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue Griffith.

Sharon was a crossing guard in Schererville for the Schererville Police Department.  She loved planting her flowers, watching birds, camping and spending time with her grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the St. Jude's Children Hospital.
