Santino M. "Sonny" Nunez, age 15, of Griffith, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015.

He is survived by his mother, Annisa (Michael) Longoria; father Joseph Nunez

Brothers: Joseph, Jimi, and Ricardo; Step sisters: Ashley, Marissa, Victoria, and Alexandra.

Grandparents: Norman and Marie Nunez, Ricardo A. and Isabel Campos,

Great Grandmother: Virginia Campos.

Aunt: Nanette (Sam Gutierrez) Campos; Uncle Jesse (Keri) Nunez;

Niece Riley Nunez and by numerous cousins, great aunts and great uncles.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 9:15 am, at White Funeral Home and at 10:00 am  at St. Mary Catholic Church, 525 N. Broad St., Griffith, IN with Father Theodore Mens celebrating.

Friends may meet with the family on Friday, July 31, 2015 from 2-8:00 pm at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue, Griffith.

Sonny was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.  He was a freshman at Griffith High School. Sonny was a member of both the Griffith football and wrestling teams and he was a member of the former Hessville Vipers. He was also a member of and the Young Guns and Caravan Kids.
