Sandra "Sandy" J. Carr (nee Neitzel), passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, November 21, 2013. She was born to Raymond and Gertrude Neitzel on February 11, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Carr, and Daughter Lori Bruno.

She is survived by her daughter, Nadine "Dina"(Charles) Stipes; grandsons: Chaz Stipes, Adam Stipes all of Griffith, IN, Maxx Bruno, Jake Bruno, and Steven Taft, of Las Vegas, NV; sisters: Lorraine Lattner, Arlene Lattner both of Dubuque, Iowa, and by her lifelong friends Annette "Nita" Pace and Agnes Supinski.

Sandra started her career at the US Draft Board in Chicago, she met Rich and married a few years later. She stayed at home to raise their two daughters during the next few years, and later returning to work in Radiology department, for quite a while. She then retired and started helping with the care of her grandsons. She has made many friends over a lot of years who will miss her dearly.

Thank you for all of the care and concern shown to her during her many bouts with cancer in the last three years.
