Sally Rico age 89 of Griffith, passed away on Saturday October 21, 2017 surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her sons Rene (Norma) Rico, Ernest Rico Jr., and Robert (Kathleen) Rico; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren; and by her numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Susie Estrada, husband Ernest Rico Sr., son Ricardo, and by her brothers John "Louie", Oscar Jr., and Phillip.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 25, 2017 at 10:00am DIRECTLY at St. Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Theodore Mens celebrating. Cremation will follow the services and inurnment will take place at St. John-St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Hammond.

Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday October 24, 2017 from 4-8:00pm at WHITE FUNERAL HOME located at 921 W. 45th Ave. in Griffith, IN.

Sally was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, gardening, painting by numbers, and volunteering (selling raffle tickets) during St. Mary Western Days. Sally loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
