Ruth A. Galvan age 75 of Valparaiso passed away on Saturday November 20th, 2021.

She is survived by her children; Paulette Ozuna, Michael (Cecilia) Galvan, Erlinda (Victor) Gonzalez, grandchildren; Christopher, Stephanie, Cristian, Reina, Gabriel, Brian, Viviana, Victoria, great-grandchildren; Nevaeh, Christopher Jr., Jocelyn, and brother Richard Carroll.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Helen Carroll, husband "Marcy" Marcelino, sisters Christine Kellams, Mary Jeanette Chastain, and brother James Michael Carroll.

Funeral services will be held on Monday November 29th, 2021, beginning at 12 Noon at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. Glen Park Ave. (45th Ave.) Griffith with Fr. Theodore Mens officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond, IN.

Friends may meet with the family on Monday November 29th, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon at White Funeral Home.

Ruth was a member of Saint Ann Catholic Church in Black Oak and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 988 in Lake Station. Ruth also spent her time volunteering at the Banta Senior Center in Valparaiso.
