Roy D. Schold, age 90 of Highland, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2014.

He is survived by his son Michael Schold of Highland.

Grandson, Austin Sarnol of Buford, GA.

Preceded in death by his Parents, Adolph and Mary Schold, wife Alice Schold (nee Swanson), 5 sisters, Helen, Margaret, Ann, Irene, Mary, and 2 brothers, Gustav and George.

Funeral services will be private.

Burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Superior, WI.

Roy was a member of the Superior Masonic Lodge #236, for 66 years in WI. He was also a member of Highland American Legion Post #180 and the Highland Elks.

"Roy was an honest man to anyone who ever knew him.  He became an avid reader after retirement, loved gardening and tinkering in his workshop downstairs inventing gadgets and contraptions to use around the house.  Roy's kind, as with so many of his era, will be deeply missed.  He was a part of the backbone in this country that made so many of the things we take for granted possible."
