Rosendo M. Marquez age 84 of East Chicago, IN passed away on Sunday March 5th 2017.

He is survived by his children; Rosendo ( Sonia) Marquez Jr., Melinda (Terry) Goggin; grandchildren Jeremie (Melinda) Marquez, Elliott (Lucy) Marquez, Rosendo (Imelda) Marquez III, Veronica (Eliseo) Maya, Alexis Goggin, Jessica Goggin, great grandchildren Kaleb, Cassandra, Jason, Julian, Joshua, Roman Joaquin, Erica, Olivia & Lauren; Siblings; Gauadelupe Marquez, Virginia (Miguel) Delgado, Margie (Thomas) Turentine, Lupe (Jose) Romo, numerous Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Anita, wife Elida brothers Florencio and Joe, sister Estela

Friends may meet with the family on Friday March 10th from 3:00pm-8:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue Griffith.

Rosendo retired from Inland Steel after 38 yrs. was a member of Steelworkers Union Local # 1010. He was a rock collector, loved playing pool, baseball, playing his guitar and working on cars.
