RoseMarie A. Schafer (Trudeau) of Hammond, formerly of Dearborn Heights, MI passed away on June 28 ^th from complications of lung cancer. She is survived by her mother, Jane C. Spehar, sister Patricia Matter both of Hammond, her sons George (Becky) of Monroe, Ga., Robert, daughter Donna (Kevin) Waterson both of MI, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charlie R. Schafer and brother George.

Prior to retirement RoseMarie was employed by the Better Business of Southfield, MI for eighteen years. She was currently attending the Highland Church of The Nazarene. Rose was an avid reader, card player and crossword puzzle fanatic; she also enjoyed traveling and had made several trips to Sutrgis, SD on her Harley with her husband and friends.

Rose will be truly missed by her family and friends who loved her very much. Memorial service will be held at Highland Nazarene Church, Kennedy Ave., on Sunday, July 3 at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment to take place in Lavonia, MI.
