Rosalie H. Meny, age 79,of Hobart, formerly of Griffith, passed away on Monday July 13, 2015.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years: James

Children: Nancy Balzer, Donna (Keith) Aubuchon, Linda Pierce, Karen (John) Hudson, Jim (Lori) Meny, and Mary (Rick) Balding,

Grandchildren: Amber Leer, Christopher Balzer, Julianne Thain, Becky Garcia, Elizabeth Aubuchon, Christy Pierce, Taylor Pierce, Stephanie Hudson, Ashley Sharrar, Andrea Meny, Alyssa Meny, Colton Halterman, Megan Balding, Mike Balding and Travis Balding

Great grandchildren: Jacob Leer, Mason Leer, Israel Garcia, Kieran Garcia, Nando Thain and Gabriella  Thain.

Brother: Bill Keepes, sister: Magdaline Meny  and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Minnie Keepes, sister, Ginny Moore, brothers, Francis and Fred Keepes.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, located at 525 N. Broad Street, Griffith, with Father Theodore Mens celebrating.

Cremation will follow.

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 4-8:00pm at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue, Griffith. There will be an afternoon prayer service on Thursday at 5:00pm.

Rosalie was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.  She enjoyed working on ceramics, spending time with her family and her grandchildren and loved the Chicago Bulls and Bears.
