Roland G. Deck age 72 of Griffith, passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 28, 2011.

He is survived by his daughters: Jodie Deck (Glen Novath) of Griffith

Darcie (Dave) Rochon of  Hudson, WI

Son: Rodney Deck of Chippewa Falls, WI

Grandchildren: Rachel Deck, Alivia Paradies, and Cameron Paradies

Former wife: Beverly Deck, mother of their children

Sisters: Glenna (Glenn) Whitesell

Norma Hendon both of DeMotte

Dawn Kaltenbach of WI

Nadine Musick of NE

Special Friend: Shirley Jones

Preceded in death by his parents George and Mary Deck, brothers Donald, LaVerne, and Jerry, Clayton and by his sisters Muriel and Doral.

Funeral services will be held on Friday July 1, 2011 at 5:00pm at the White Funeral Home . Cremation will follow services. Inurnment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville.

Friends may meet with the family on Friday July 1 ^st from 2-5:00pm at the White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Ave. in Griffith.

Roland was a Navy Veteran and he was a retired Detective with the Griffith Police Dept. Roland was also an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.He enjoyed telling jokes and singing.
