Roger B. Miller age 53 of Hammond passed away on Thursday June 22, 2017.

He is survived by his siblings: Nancy (Theo) Jones, Winnie (Bobbie) Perry, Tracie Carter, Mary (Jimmie) Cook, Ann (Jerome) Miller, William Patty, Robert Lee Carter and numerous nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents J.T. and Linnie Carter, and by his  sisters  Patricia and Tangela.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 29, 2017 at 2:00 pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue in Griffith.

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday June 29, 2017 from 1:00 pm until the time of service at White Funeral Home.

Cremation will follow the service.

Roger attended Dusable High School in Chicago where he played for the Panthers.  He worked for Dr. Russell's office as a custodian and he was a construction worker at U.S. Steel in Gary.  Roger loved watching T.V. and cartoons.
