ROBERT K. ANGEL GRIFFITH, IN Robert K. Angel, age 61, of Griffith passed away Monday June 6, 2011. He is survived by his wife 34 years, Dawn; children: Melissa (Joseph) Swinford of Highland and Jason (Trisha) Angel of Griffith; grandchildren: Noah, Kaylyn and Maximus; sisters: Joan (Jerry) Clarey, Barbara (Coy) Williams, Diane (Rich) Waller, and Janice Schilaci; also numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Alice. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home , 921 W. 45th Ave., Griffith with Pastor Shawn Cornett officiating. Cremation will follow services. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home . Robert was retired from Stauffer Rhodia, and currently was a substitute teacher for the Griffith Public Schools. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the American Legion and Tornados. Robert was a graduate from Crete Monee High School class of '68. He was also employed at his "dream job" as a starter at Harborside International Golf Course.
