Richard D. Surdyk age 87 of Gary passed away on Friday May 24, 2019.

He is survived by his children; Richard J. Surdyk, Robert M. Surdyk, and Lori Ann Taylor, grandchildren; Jessica, Kaitlyn, and Samantha, great-grandchildren; Jackson, Brantley, and Elena.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and his wife; Sandy.

All services will be private and cremation was chosen.

Richard was an Army Veteran and retired from Modulus Corporation in Gary where he was a Tool and Die maker.

He had a love for hunting, fishing, and gardening.
