Ricardo "Ric" Moreno, age 60 of Hammond, passed away on Sunday March 2, 2014.

He is survived by his loving companion and friend in life Peggy Smock; daughter Jennette Nicole Moreno; step-children: Nancy (Andy) Anderson, Tim (Roberta) Smock; grandchildren: Emma, Grace, Kelsey and Ty; father Alfonso (Anna) Moreno Sr; brothers: Alfonso Moreno Jr., Juan (John Knazur) Moreno, Mario Moreno, Marco Moreno; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Ric was preceded in death by his mother, Maria.

Funeral services will be held on Friday March 7, 2014 at 7:00pm at White Funeral Home with services by the Griffith Masonic Lodge. Cremation will follow services.

Friends may meet with the family on Friday March 7th from 4:00pm until time of service at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Ave. in Griffith.

Ric was a member of Moondoggers Brotherhood, and Griffith Masonic Lodge #735. Ric was an avid pool player.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
