Rebecca Ann Sobeck age 59 of Hammond passed away on Tuesday October 18, 2016.

She is survived by her son: Max (Stephanie) Sobeck; Grandchildren: Aurora, Hailey and Athena;

Sister: Kalee Veldkamp; nephews: Dane Seydel, Joshua (Trisha) Seydel; great nephews: Jacob and Remington Seydel; and her four legged cat: Baby.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her parents George P. and Kathleen Sobeck, and by her brother Michael "Tiny" Sobeck

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday October 26, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Woodmar United Methodist Church located at 7320 Northcote Avenue Hammond with Rev. Alex Stone officiating.

Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday October 26, 2016 from 4-7:00 pm at Woodman United Methodist Church.

Becky worked at Van Tils for 20+ years.  She was like a "Mom" to everyone in Hessville.
