Obituary

Raymond N. Bercier age 70 of Highland passed away on Wednesday February 24, 2021. He is survived by his wife Mary; children Christy (Don) Vehrs and Michelle (Kevin) Baumgartner; grandchildren Abigail, Carolyn, Zachary, and Jacob; great granddaughter Lynnetta; siblings Colette (Dan) Simcox and Edward (Hilary) Bercier and numerous nieces and nephews.

Raymond is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Virginia, brothers Jack and Russ Bercier.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue (Glen Park Ave.) Griffith, with Fr. Brian Chadwick celebrating. Inurnment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery in Schererville.

Friends may meet with the family on Friday March 12th, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home. Due to covid-19 concerns, masks are required at the funeral home.

Raymond was a member of the American Legion 66 in Griffith, VFW 1109 in Highland, and Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Highland. He was employed at Kraz Construction in Highland. Raymond loved playing his guitar, golfing, feeding the birds and fishing.

He liked going to "Big Week" in Star Lake, Wisconsin and spending time with the family and playing pinochle.

Memorials may be given to the American Kidney Foundation in Raymond's memory.
