Phyllis E. Konopasek age 89 of Griffith, IN passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015.

She is survived by her children: Jeff (Jan) Konopasek, Jill Owczarzak, and Jerry (Michelle Barrett) Konopasek

Grandchildren: Corey (Lori) Konopasek, Mandy (Joe) Anderson, Clint (Vesna) Konopasek, Kelly (Vince) Saulters

Great Grandchildren: Landon Owczarzak, Sailor Saulters, Wyatt Konopasek, Luka Konopasek, Vinny Saulters, Max Anderson, Cole Konopasek, and Baby Anderson who's on the way.

Sister: Mary (Emery) Graves of Boone Grove

Brothers in law: George (Marge) Konopasek, James (Louise) Oman

Preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Mary McDonald, husband Bernal "Buck" Konopasek, brothers Richard and Dean McDonald.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 10:00 am at First Christian Church located at 202 W. Pine St. in Griffith with Rev. Shawn Cornett officiating.

Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Gary.

Friends may meet with the family on Sunday August 2, 2015 from 2-8:00 pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue in Griffith.

Phyllis was a member of First Christian Church in Griffith for 65 years.  She was a tutor for both Highland and Griffith Public Schools and she was a volunteer at Highland Nursing Home.

Memorials may be given to the family.
