Patrick G. Callahan age 68 of Merrillville, passed away on Friday April 29, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 17 years Christina; sisters Kathleen (Norman) Szymonik and Deborah (Bill) Cook; sister-in-law Melissa (John) Angyus; nieces and nephews Denise (Tim) Szorc, Renee (Ed) Thometz, David (Shelley) Szymonik, Michelle (John) O'Connor, Emily (Mark) Panning, John Angyus, and Erik (Lindsay) Angyus; and by several great nieces and great nephews. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, James and Shelia Callahan.

A celebration of Patrick's life will be held at a later date. Patrick graduated from Morton High School class of 1971 "71 we're the one." He worked in the hospitality industry for many years. He was a former employee of Meijer's in Merrillville and he enjoyed gardening and animals. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Patrick's family for his medical expenses. White Funeral Home in Griffith, Indiana is in charge of Patrick's arrangements.
