Patricia A. Kocoj, (nee Mshar) SFO age 71 of Griffith, Indiana passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015.

She is survived by her children: Michelle (Jack) Krol, Joseph (Pat) Kocoj, John (Amy) Kocoj, and Ray (fiancée Lori) Kocoj,

Grandchildren: Jacklyn, Chris, Josh, Carlie, Matthew, Sarah (who is on her way), Matt and Steven.

Siblings: Victor (Linda) Mshar, William (Susan) Mshar, Anna (late Ira) Rice, Gregory (late Raina) Mshar, Christine (late James) Anderson, Georgette (late Alex) Laposi, Jerome (Debra) Mshar, and Doris (Robert) Colbert.

Numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Anna Mshar, husband, Joseph, brother,  Walter, and sister,  Veronica.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 10:00 am, at St. Mary Catholic Church located at 525 N. Broad St. Griffith, Indiana with Father Theodore Mens celebrating.

Entombment will follow at St. John/St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Hammond, Indiana.

Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 3-8:00 pm at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue, Griffith, Indiana. And from 9:15 am until time of service at the church on Thursday.

Patricia was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Mustard Seed Prayer Group, and very active for many years in The Port Ministries, inspired by the Franciscan Charism and founded by Rev. Augustin (Gus) Milon, O.F.M.
