Nancy L .Edwards (nee Shutts) age 79 of Hammond passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016.

She is survived by her daughters: Lori (Timothy) Mattozzi, Lisa Edwards and Brenda (Steven) White, eight grandchildren , five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Archie and Bessie Mae Shutts, husband Clifford "Paul" Edwards, siblings Betty Kassens, Dave Shutts and Vivian Hiers.

Memorial services will be  held on Thursday August 11, 2016 at 7:00 pm at White Funeral Home located at 921W. 45th Avenue, Griffith with James Williams officiating.

Inurnment at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN.

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday August 11th from 3-7:00 pm at White Funeral Home.

Nancy graduated from Morton High School in 1956.  She attended First United Methodist Church in Griffith, retired as a cosmetologist and instructor and was an avid seamstress and crafter.

In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Breast Cancer Society would be appreciated.
