Mildred Pauline (nee Tarlton) Jones, 88, of Marietta, GA passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 at her son and his wife's home at 990 Windfield Lane in Marietta, GA.

Mrs. Jones was born January 9, 1927 in Bristow Township, Randolph County, AR, the daughter of John Tarlton and Hattie Ford, both of whom preceded her in death.

She married Filmore Jones on Feb 1, 1944.  Before the passing of her husband the couple celebrated 66 years together.   Mildred retired from Arby's Restaurant where she was the manager for over 10 years. Mildred joined the LDS Church on June 16, 2002.  More than anything, Mildred loved to cook for and spend time with her family….especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Larry and his wife, Patricia Jones, of Marietta, GA, nine grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and her sister-in-laws Hassel Tarlton and Barbara Daily.

She was also preceded in death in by her two sons, Ronnie and Laney Jones, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 8pm Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the White Funeral Home in Griffith, Indiana. Funeral services will be at 10am Friday, January 16 at the LDS Church, 300 W. Wirth Road, Griffith, Indiana. Burial will follow at the Chapel Lawn Cemetery.
