Michael Varichak age 65 of Griffith passed away on October 12, 2015.

He is survived by his wife of 8 years Lupe.

Sons Robert (Gina Jasaitis) Varichak and Dave (Beth) Varichak

By his grandchildren Hayden, Brennen, Alyssa, Emily & Ava

Stepchildren: Lydia (Andy) McNeiley, Alicia (Guieve) Vara, Martin (Sabrina) Torres

Step grandchildren: Cristina, Analyse, Guieve Jr., Karina, De'Angelo and Martin Jr.

Also by his sisters Diana (Dave) Frame, Debbie (Steve) Martin and by his four legged companion Laddie.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mike and Mary Varichak and by his first wife Anne Marie.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 16 ^th at 10:00am at St. Mary Catholic Church in Griffith with Fr. Theodore Mens celebrating

Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso, Indiana

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, October 15 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue Griffith

Michael was retired from Inland Steel after 41 years. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, and the Local 1010, He was also a member of the Sons of the Legion Post 66 in Griffith.

Michael was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who enjoyed stock car racing, live music & records.
